Cardboard Man Eating Plant costume for Halloween

This is the perfect stand out costume for halloween this year and it's all made from up-cycled materials. There is no need to wait for parcels to arrive in the post, download the template and get started straight away.

What you need to make this costume:

  • Single walled cardboard
(The best cardboard for this build needs to be firm and stiff, 1-3 mm think cardboard that is not flimsy - remember thick cardboard doesnt mean it is firmer, a lot of the thinner cardboards are more strudy)
  • Card or single face cardboard
  • Hot Glue and Glue gun
  • Glue stick
  • Masking Tape
  • Printer and paper
  • Sticky Tac (Blue Tac)
  • Craft Blade and scissors

By printing the costume template on different paper sizes you can make the costume for an adult size man-eating plant costume or a child size. The costume head featured below on the left is printed on A3/tabloid extra, the costume head on the Right is printed on A4/letter paper sizes
